Man arrested over pound;200,000 fraud

A 44-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of fraud after pound;200,000 vanished from the accounts of a Cambridgeshire public school.

The arrest follows allegations made in December at the pound;14,500-a-year Lys School in Trumpington Road that a large sum of money had been misappropriated over a number of years from the school's accounts. The man, who has not been named, was released on bail till January.
