As you would expect in Maths Year 2000, this year's Education Show boasts a bonanza of mathematical resources. But even without a trip to the NEC, teachers should enjoy extensive support for the subject this year, given the pound;55 million invested in it. On the Maths 2000 website you will find games, puzzles and links to various mathsfests and materals. More than 500 family numeracy courses are planned and 300 numeracy summer schools for 11-year-olds. Teachers can also sign-up for the free monthly Maths 2000 newsletter.
