Medicine for citizenship

Complementing the European Year of Citizenship, free online teaching tips for citizenship are available from the At-Bristol website.

Citizen Science aims to engage pupils in the effects of bio-medics in society. In the student pages, there is information about medicines available from rainforests and a quiz about alcohol. There are information sheets about drugs, alcohol and ethics as well as links to other sites on cloning, genetic testing, eating disorders, cancer and plastic surgery.

Teaching resources for key stages 3 to 5 science, English and citizenship are available using ICT, drama, games and role-play.
