Men poised to nurture

Jewel and Esk College in the Lothians has reported an increase in men studying childcare this year - from one to five. It suggests the reasons may be that the sector has broadened, an increase in support for men considering a career in childcare, and mandatory registration with the Scottish Council for Social Services for those working in the sector.
