Teachers are invited to send their best maths pupils to a Mental Calculations World Championship, part of the first Mind Sports Olympiad, at the Royal Festival Hall, London SE1, August 18-24. Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the leading juniors as well as to the overall winners of the tournament. Other prizes will include one for the best school result in the tournament.
