MORE young children and adolescents are seeking treatment from psychiatrists, says a report from a mental health charity.

A survey by the charity Young Minds of professionals, including psychiatrists, paediatricians andsocial service directors, showed increases of up to 50 per cent in caseloads for young people.

A Government report last year said that around one in 10 youngsters were suffering from a mental health disorder.
