Mighty mini-beasts

25th February 2005 at 00:00
Zoolab, a team which holds hands-on animal workshops for children, visited St Joseph's, a specialist science school, with some unusual creatures, including this huge millipede. It was set up by Leeds University and N M Rothschild Sons partners in a Community of Excellence scheme which organises lots of school science and environment activities. The picture shows me, left, with Year 7 pupils Launa Fearnley (centre) and Hannah Page.
