Mike Kent's criticism of inspectors is outstanding

9th March 2012 at 00:00

Enough now, Mike Kent. I am sure you were an excellent head (you did occasionally hint that was the case), but it's over now. Enjoy your retirement: go on holiday in term-time, follow your hobbies and have fun. Your last column ("Who's not so clever now?", 2 March) really was a step too far. Mr Keen, indeed. Not subtle - and I do hope the references to "Miss Jameson" were not a sideswipe at your successor. Time to let go, Mike.
