Mills on voice at Youth Choir

A former director of education is to be the first full-time manager of the National Youth Choir of Scotland. Ian Mills, who failed to be reappointed after East Dunbartonshire reorganised its serice, will help the choir continue its expansion.

Its role in encouraging young people to sing has been recognised by an increased grant from the Scottish Arts Council of pound;12,000.
