Ministers monitor exam marking

The Executive is "continuing to monitor the situation" in respect of this year's exam marking, Sam Galbraith, the Education Minister, said. Pressures from the introduction of new tecnology at the Scottish Qualifications Authority and the new Higher Still exams have led to requests for teachers to be released during school time to mark scripts at home.
