Mod studies - Another year on

The Modern Studies Association's annual conference takes place in Glasgow on November 1.

The morning keynote session is by BBC Scotland political editor Brian Taylor. Other speakers include: Stan da Prato, SQA qualifications manager for modern studies; Linda de Caestecker, public health director for NHS Greater Glasgow Clyde; and Greg Philo, research director of the media unit at Glasgow University.

The conference is at Strathclyde University's faculty of education at Jordanhill from 10am-3.30pm.
