More 'see benefits of boarding'

BOARDING schools might finally have broken through the outdated myths perpetuated by Tom Brown's Schooldays and Dotheboys Hall, a leading head said this week. Nick Ward, chairman of the Boarding Schools Associatio, said parents - and, increasingly, children - were recognising that such schools could benefit pupils by providing "a certain something" in a world where four top A-level grades were no longer enough.
