More subject specialists

More than three-quarters of English secondary schools are now subject specialists. This follows a move this week to grant another 194 schools specialist status, bringing the total to 2,382. All schools in seven local authorities are now specialist. They are: Hackney, east London; Lambeth, south London; North Somerset; Plymouth; Rutland; Wakefield, and West Berkshire.
