Most lucky with jobs

Latest figures released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency reveal 66 per cent of PGCE students on initial teacher training courses in Wales during 2006-7 found teaching jobs within the Welsh borders. Two per cent of the 1,350 cohort were unemployed in January this year, slightly down on the previous year.
