Mother jailed for attack on teachers

A MOTHER-OF-THREE who assaulted four teachers after criticising their efforts to discipline her 11-year-old son has been jailed for four months.

Tina Smith, 31, lashed out at staff at Willingsworth high school, Tipton, West Midlands, on two separate occasionsafter teachers expressed concerns about the conduct of her eldest son, Liam, West Bromwich magistrates' court heard.

Smith's husband Wayne, 33, escaped a jail term after pleading guilty to assaulting three teachers during one of the two incidents.
