Motorcross track plans fuel head's ire

Noise from a proposed motocross track could severely disrupt lessons in a nearby school, its head has said. Phil Dover, head of Lees Brook Community Sports College in Derby, has submitted an official objection to the 900-metre track. Mr Dover said the noise would make it hard for pupils to concentrate. The landowner behind the project claims it will stop local children riding bikes across other sites illegally.
