Moving experiences

10th September 2004 at 01:00
Led by The National Archives, the Moving Here site documents and illustrates the experiences of those who have migrated to England over the past 200 years, who are of Caribbean, Irish, Jewish and South Asian origins. It offers free access to government documents, photos, personal papers, maps and other material related to migration. Visitors to the site can also add their own stories. This provides a great outlet for children of ethnic minorities to identify their roots and document them.
