Multi-story pack

12th November 2004 at 00:00
Tony Wilson has produced a box containing two more of his attractive story CDs for children at key stage 2. Gerach's Road is a traditional Celtic tale, with ominous and heart-stirring deeds set in an evocative landscape of mountain, sea and woods. Tommy Fohl's Spotty Christmas Eve is more comical, an original story told in Tony Wilson's sympathetic Geordie voice. Piano, trombone, harp and guitar are used to subtle effect. Each narrative lasts for a generous hour, so the pack provides excellent value in stretching both vocabulary and young imaginations. Double CD pack pound;6.
