Mums are better than Geri

FORGET the Spice Girls or Britney Spears, Mum's the word when it comes to role models for young girls.

A report from the Guide Association has revealed that 11 to 17-year-olds look up to teir mothers more than anyone else. Even teachers figure more highly than the glamorous and glitzy. Only 10 per cent admitted to having a celebrity role model such as Geri Halliwell.
