Music requests

Two charities, Action for Peoples in Conflict and International Community Assist, are aiming to get a million children to sing a specially-written carol at concerts (or when out carol singing) and contribute Pounds 1 to help rebuild lives in Bosnia and northern Albania. People from all walks of life, who know the Messiah or can sight sing are being sought to form a choir of hundreds at Mount St Mary's College, Spinkhill, Derbyshire. Voluntary rehearsals will be held. Details: Richard Stephens, 01246 433444.
