Naive youth

I've finally left a profession where I was seen as "over-the-hill" halfway through my working life; where they tried to name and shame me, but never tamed me. Now I'm in industry I finish at 5pm, get every weekend off, and no one blames me for society's ills. It appears the teacher shortage can be cured by getting more young recruits. Maybe that's because the older ones know better.
