Members of the Headteachers' Association of Scotland will have noted the imminent name change of its parent body south of the border. The Secondary Heads Association will, from January, become the Association for School and College Leaders, broadening its base. This should be pronounced Askill, not Asil which, if said quickly, might imply something else.
