Michael McGowan, a teacher at Brimsdown junior in Enfield, is cross that the DfES's main number has changed from a "0207" to an "0870" number. He says that while Londoners could get cheap calls and everyone could get a reduction on the 0207 number by putting the number on the "friends and family" discount scheme, everybody pays 8p a minute now. But would you have wanted the DfES on friends and family?
