(Photograph) - Harry Ioannou has been weighing his options. He is one of 35,000 new teachers who qualify this year and teachers' unions are competing to sign them up as new members. All four classroom unions offer free membership for trainee teachers. The National Union of Teachers is now offering free training in pupil behaviour and classroom management. Mr Ioannou, 28, has just graduated from London University's Institute of Education and started teaching business and economics at Broomfield comprehensive in Enfield, north London.
