New Muslim state school

6th December 2002 at 00:00
A NEW, state Muslim primary is to open in Wandsworth, south London, it was announced this week. The 420-pupil school will open in September 2004, and will occupy the former premises of Wandsworth adult college. Almost half of its pupils are expected to come from outside the borough, easing pupil losses at other local primaries.
