My Robot

Part of the TESiboard phonics library, My Robot, phase 2 focuses on sounds. The robot is having trouble saying words and needs to be taught how to blend them. You can set which phoneme is removed from each word, leaving a blank sound.

Cartoon fun

This worksheet from alutwyche makes reading co-ordinates fun for pupils in upper primary. Children have to read the co-ordinates of 14 cartoon characters, including Cartman, Batman and Spiderman.

Another set of co-ordinates for the interactive whiteboard, there are two slides from Nikki 7. The first asks upper primary children to identify the position of objects on a grid; the second asks them to plot co-ordinates to make a 2D shape.
