- Liven up revision with blackfriary `s geography game-making activity where pupils, in groups, design a game to revise a topic on coasts. It could be a new version of an existing board game or TV quiz such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire?


- TES maths adviser Craig Barton has selected his top 10 group projects on the TES Resources website. These include the wizard apprentice trials, in which a giant has kidnapped some sprites; Pictionary, with three versions; and a murder mystery challenge where pupils follow clues and crack codes. Pupils can swap ideas in their search for solutions.


- Studying the master of suspense? Explore Hitchcock's film techniques with a lesson from rshades. Or get pupils writing about his masterpiece The Birds with EmmaBB `s PowerPoint.
