The next Bond

- Intelligence agencies MI5, MI6 and GCHQ are looking for "apprentices with intelligence". The two-year programme will give young people a foundation degree in communications systems, security and computing, and a level 4 diploma in IT professional competence.

Going global

- This week was Global Entrepreneurship Week and TES Resources ran a list of useful contacts and ideas on its website, which are timeless. Schools can find tips on organising visits from local firms and projects that test pupils' skills, such as promoing a rock band and creating an advertising campaign.
