No historical rewrite

According to a report in Washington's Chronicle of Higher Education, the leading US publication for the academic community, Microsoft is under pressure to rewrite history. The Turkish government has threatened the company with reprisals if Online Encarta continues o carry information on the 1915 Armenian Genocide in which 1.8 million Armenians were killed by Turkish forces. The authors have politely refused the request and the story is told under the heading, "Genocide".
