I HEARTILY endorse your campaign to ensure that every teacher has a laptop. Why stop there? Push for a Cruiser. These laptops can be used in whole-class lessons with an OHP. If the Government wants teachers to incorporate ICT into their lessons, then give them a machine hey can use as a teaching aid, rather than as a tool for admin. I am head of maths, and we bought one last year. It is effective and engenders enthusiasm and confidence in the teachers.
