(Photograph) - The Norton Knatchbull School jazz band from Ashford, Kent, in rehearsal for last night's concert at London's Royal Festival Hall where hundreds of young musicians and dancers celebrated the 125th anniversary of the National Union of Teachers. Organised by Music for Youth, the concert included a new choral work by the compere Richard Stilgoe, performances by the National Youth Ballet, the Ysgol Glanaethwy Music Theatre and the Northamptonshire County Youth Orchestra.

Wayne Sleep and Kenny Baker made guest appearances.
