Connor Davies of Penkridge Middle School, Staffordshire, won a school competition to write a rap about bullying. His entry was recorded and performed by Jon Emson and Mike Hopkin (both pictured).

Dan Smith and David Robinson, sixth-formers at Hartsdown Technology College in Margate, kick a ball about with local children (above) during a trip to Kenya. The pair also visited Masai warriors (top right) and helped build a school playground (top left).

Poet Ian McMillan will host an arts conference at Leeds Town Hall on 10 March. Young people from across Yorkshire will perform.

Young artist Georgia Edwards, a Year 6 pupil at the Greetland Academy in West Yorkshire, with the sketches that inspired her design for the school's new logo.
