Creative Choices is offering workshops for young people interested in theatre careers in areas such as sound, lighting, costumes, hair and make-up, and set design. Aimed at Years 9-11, they will run at theatres across England in the autumn term.

Use resources shared by foodafactoflife to help pupils understand healthy eating. A PowerPoint introduces different food groups and pupils can analyse their own diet using a spreadsheet. There are also worksheets and posters.

A new website from Thames Water explains the engineering work behind the Thames Tideway Tunnel, a sewer that will protect the River Thames from pollution.

The Royal Society

New TES partner The Royal Society has uploaded more than 170 videos for key stage 3-4 pupils. They explain topics

such as the neuroscience of emotions, satnav for surgeons and airport security.
