* Two new Geographical Association titles come out in April. Promoting Geography in Schools, pound;12, pound;8 members, and Going Places: a geography careers resource pack, pound;21, pound;18 members, will be available at the annual conference or from the GA office (details above).

* A tactile globe has been produced by the Royal National Institute for the Blind, funded by Boots the Chemists. It helps children with serious sight problems become familiar with the locations of different countries, the equator, latitude and longitude lines. For details and prices, tel: 0345 023153.
