NUT dispute with London borough of Croydon

The National Union of Teachers is in dispute with the London borough of Croydon because it says the council has reneged on procedures to deal with incompetent staff. The education authority has warned nine staff at Ingham High School that they must improve their performance or risk dismissal. Ingham was deemed a failing school two years ago.
