NVQ growth

The number of trainees achieving national vocational qualifications rose by one third this year compared with last, taking the total since they started to over 1.5 million, latest figures from the National Council for Vocational Qualifications show.

Success at level 3 (A-level equivalent) rose by 43 per cent from 52,486 to 75,216. Awards at all five levels showed growth.
