Ofsted: less of an ogre and more of an eye-opener

Congratulations on a brilliant dissection of all that has gone wrong with Ofsted over the years. What you omitted to say, though, was that the independent inspectors - not all of whom have lost the respect of the profession - have been placed in an impossible position where they cannot challenge the nonsense being foisted on them and on schools.

A campaign to get back to Solomons and rid of the jobsworths would serve everyone.
