Ofsted says sorry for report errors

6th August 2004 at 01:00
In The TES of June 18 in an article headlined "Ofsted says sorry for report errors", we stated in the first sentence that "Inspectors have had to apologise...after writing a report using data from another school". As the article later makes clear, the "report" which contained information relating to another school was the pre-inspection commentary on Parkside middle school, Bromsgrove, not the final inspection report. However, the reference to "a report" in the headline and opening sentence may have given a misleading impression for which we apologise.
