FROM THE IVORY TOWER TO THE STREET: PUTTING LEARNING THEORY INTO PRACTICE Pounds 19.95 (Pounds 12.95 members) from: Campaign for Learning Office, RSA, 8 John Adam Street London WC2.

The Campaign for Learning has published a report on its "Bringing theory to life" colloquium held in Leeds last October. It explores such questions as: how do we learn? How do we create the best conditions for learning? Do we recognise the complexity and "messiness" of learning? Do we respect learners and involve them in the learning process?

The report makes recommendations to help people make the best use of learning theory in their own organisations and their own lives.

The Campaign for Learning aims to create a learning society in the UK by the year 2000. Details: Toby Greany, tel: 0171 930 5115.
