Olympic torch viewing up in smoke

25th May 2012 at 01:00

It saddens me to hear that the headteachers of two primary schools will not be bringing the pupils out to watch as the Olympic torch travels along our high street, just metres from their school gates. Apparently the health and safety issues are just too difficult to deal with. After all, according to one head, "There could be a paedophile among the crowd" who could snatch a child from under the flame.
