One-stop shop

21st November 2003 at 00:00
Five London boroughs - Waltham Forest, Newham, Greenwich, Tower Hamlets and Lewisham - have collaborated to create a one-stop-shop bringing a variety of youth services, from Childline to education and career opportunities and services to one website, XB4U (cross-borough for you). Children from Year 9 upwards have a card and PIN number to access the site. Some of the links are worth following such as the business ideas sites run by Shell (LiveWire) and Channel 4 (Bedroom Britain).
