Under the artistic directorship of Jatinder Verma, the company will use the money over the next three years to mount a theatre and media project on Asian migration. The trilogy, Journey to the West, will combine oral histories of Asian communities and epic texts and promises to cast "a determinedly Asian eye on the state of the contemporary world." The development phase of the plays will involve working with adults and children. For more details, ring 0181 333 4457.
