The expansion of further education in Scotland continues. Borders College has opened a one-stop lifelong learning shop in Hawick in conjunction with Heriot-Watt University, Lews Castle College is expanding its interests south to Harris and the first two learning centres for Argyll College have been opened at Fionnphort on Mull and Crossapol on Tiree.
