Opt-out blow

The Secretary of State is "minded" to reject the opt-out application from parents at John Bosco Secondary in Glasgow. The school board has until April 11 to respond to his view that the move would hinder Glasgow's school rationalisation plans. Bids by Levern, Queenslie and St Bonaventure's primaries have been rejected and the schools will close in June.
