Confidentiality in Schools is an in-service training manual for maintained primary, middle, secondary or special schools.

It aims to clarify what teachers and others working in schools can do within the boundaries of their legal and professional responsibilities if a pupil confides in them.

The main focus is on sex and health education. Ideas are given for workshop activities, with photocopiable handouts containing background information.

Values Education: A Staff Development Manual for Secondary Schools explains the issues involved in education on moral values. It aims to help teachers understand what they should be doing to satisfy the OFSTED inspection teams. Practical examples of classroom activities, guidance on creating effective lessons - with theoretical material - is included in a photocopiable ringbinder. School Improvement: Practical Strategies to Enhance Teaching and Learning is designed for in-service training workshops. It focuses on both the primary and secondary classroom, with practical advice and a range of activities. The photocopiable pack encourages staff to work together on classroom techniques and raising achievement, and has been designed so that existing structures can be built on. The Schemes of Work Toolkit: a practical guide for primary schools has been developed by staff at the Cambridgeshire Curriculum Agency in response to requests from headteachers and curriculum co-ordinators. It has been designed to accompany and assist a school's planning processes and gives teachers the practical tools to achieve their aims and objectives. All subjects in the national curriculum are covered and each has a "guidebook" to ensure planning continuity and consistency.
