Out of the mouths of babes...;Letter

I WOULD like to share a couple of questions with your readers.

1) Why is less time spent reading in school now that we have the Literacy Hour?

2) If school is a place where we are supposed to learn, why is so much of pupils' and teachers' time spent on tests and getting ready for them?
