Pack about repacking

23rd April 2004 at 01:00
Young trees and old drinks cans are brought together in an imaginative resource from Alupro, an organisation concerned with recycling aluminium packaging. The pack encourages children to investigate which materials they can recycle at home and what happens to them afterwards. It also links these industrial processes to cycles of growth and decay occurring in nature. Two activity cards and a poster provide printed information.

Practical knowledge will be gained from growing the seeds in the pack. It is hoped that enough schools will register to ensure that 35,000 new trees are planted.
