Painting a picture with the wrong words

10th June 2011 at 01:00

Parkins may excel at art but it was 010 in spelling and history in his Obama-related cartoon the other week, I'm afraid (27 May). The figure at the back right holds a copy of something entitled "Doomsday Book", when it should, of course, be "Domesday Book". Unless, that is, this refers to the codes for unleashing nuclear destruction said to follow each American president everywhere.
