Pupils across the country are being called on to sharpen their pencils and select their favourite coloured crayons and pens, in advance of the annual Big Draw event. The timetable for the Big Draw 2007, which will take place on September 30, was announced this week. The event, which aims to celebrate drawing, will include demonstrations by professionals such as children's book illustrator Quentin Blake and designer Terence Conran. Children are also invited to attend the Big Draw East at venues across east London, which will explore themes such as body culture.
