Zoe Rawlings is acting head.Ivor Gaber, senior lecturer in television at Goldsmith's College, London University, and currently on leave of absence at the BBC's Radio Five Live, has been appointed Britain's first professor of broadcast journalism.Dr Anthony Selden, deputy head of St Dunstan's College, London SE6, and founding director of the Institute of Contemporary British History, has been commissioned by publishers Weidenfeld and Nicolson to write a political biography of John Major.
